NEW FOR 2023 – CALLAWAY PARADYM RANGE

Brand new for 2023, Callaway has introduced the Paradym range to run alongside their Rogue and Apex ranges. Labelled their fastest, most stable driver ever, Callaway has added 5 new drivers to their arsenal. Their most all-round driver is the standard Paradym Driver, giving the best combination of distance and forgiveness of the new drivers. The Paradym has an adjustable weighting system which allows the player to fine tune their desired ball flight.  As well as the Paradym is the Paradym X, with a draw-bias for players with a tendency to fade or slice the golf ball. Alongside these is the Paradym Triple Diamond, designed for a stronger trajectory and lower spin than the standard Paradym. This head is aimed at the more advanced golfer, delivering low spin with a neutral to fade bias. Completing the line-up are the women’s drivers, with the Paradym and the Paradym X available for women.

The drivers are accompanied by fairway woods with  Jailbreak with Batwing Technology.  The A.I. Designed Jailbreak Batwing structure is pushed to the perimeter to stiffen the body, while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds. The same variations in the drivers are available in the fairway woods. The all round standard Paradym which gives the best combination of forgiveness and distance. The Paradym X which is designed for a more draw bias weighting system, helping golfers who tend to slice their shots. The lastly the Paradym Triple Diamond which is designed for players with fast club head speeds, as the centre of gravity is more forwards allowing for a lower flight and lower spin.

The Paradym hybrids come in two differnet models, the Paradym and the Paradym X. The Paradym Hybrid is for golfers who want a mid-sized, wood-shaped hybrid that’s long with excellent versatility and control. The Cutwave Sole design improves the club’s performance through the turf, making this our most versatile hybrid, and we’ve adapted our best fairway wood technologies for maximum distance. The Paradym X model is for golfers who want a full-sized, wood-shaped hybrid that’s long with excellent versatility and forgiveness, with an element of draw bias.

Sharing the variation names of the hybrids, the Paradym irons come in two different heads, the Paradym and the Paradym X. The Paradym and Paradym X Irons combine the A.I. Designed Forged 455 Face with the all-new Speed Frame. They’re designed for golfers who are looking for a players’ distance iron with a refined shape and premium forging. The all-new Hollow Body design features Speed Frame construction for added stiffness to the body and support for the high-strength Forged 455 Face Cup. This unique construction is the catalyst that stabilizes a thinner face for incredibly fast ball speeds. Completing the Paradym Irons, the Paradym X is available for women.

 Apex Iron & Hybrid Fitting

Callaway have updated their Apex range for 2021. There is an upgraded Apex and completely new Apex Pro and Apex DCB. All feature Callaway’s A.I. Flash Cup Face. Apex Pro features a new hollow-body design; Apex DCB (Deep Cavity Back) made for forgiveness & distance.

First introduced in 2013, the standard, non-Pro Apex has been Callaway’s quasi-forged, multi-material flagship iron. That’s an oddly specific category but hey, it’s Callaway. In last year’s Most Wanted Players Distance Iron testing, the Apex was long but struggled in strokes gained. For 2021, Callaway is gunning for even more Flash Face Cup-fueled distance, but Callaway says forgiveness, spin consistency and ease of launch are equally important. And that’s where all that tungsten comes in to play. Specifically, five times more tungsten than the 2019 Apex. And as you’d expect, Callaway has a name for it: Massive Tungsten Energy Core.

The updates to the standard Apex irons are nice, but it’s the new Apex Pro 21 irons that grab you by the shirt and yanks you out of your chair. According to Callaway, it’s a completely new-from-the-ground-up hollow body forged (sort of) iron. As you’d expect with a “Pro” version, the head is smaller than that of the standard Apex, and the lofts are a little weaker (33-degree seven iron).

Enter the Callaway DCB, or Deep Cavity Back, for golfers who want a forged (sort of) iron loaded with game-improvement features.  The Apex DCB has all the tech the other two irons have – A.I. Flash Face Cup, a crap-ton of tungsten, urethane microspheres and a 1025 forged head – all packed into a larger head with a wider sole. While Callaway would have easily called this iron the Mavrik Forged, it’s clearly designed to fit with the rest of the Apex family.

If you’re after a Hybrid to replace a long iron or to fill a distance gap at the top end of your golf bag, then look no further than the Apex 21 or Apex 21 Pro HybridsApex 21 is a high-tech, high-performance hybrid that blends exceptional A.I. ball speed with our remarkable new Jailbreak Velocity Blades. In addition to all that speed, Callaway has engineered exceptional ball flight control and adjustability into a stunning players shape. This is a versatile, high performance hybrid that can help a wide range of golfers. Apex Pro 21 is our new players hybrid featuring compact shaping, control and workability. It’s a perfect option for Tour pros up to low handicap players who want a high-performance option off the tee, or a versatile club on long Par 4’s and Par 5’s. And with new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades, it delivers the consistent ball speed that players want to see.
