Driver Fitting 

New for 2020 is the Yonex Ezone GS range. Traditionally, a club face is polished horizontally, but avoiding the trap of conventional wisdom, Yonex has adopted a vertical polish. A design that eliminates the need for grooves on the face, improving shot direction and minimizing side spin. With a vertical polish it is easier to move the ball in an upwards direction rather than horizontally. As a result, the spin axis is difficult to change and destructive side spin is minimised. With horizontal polishing it is easier to move the ball in a left/right direction compared to vertical polishing. As a result, the spin axis tilts, and there is an increase in side spin. Vertical polishing improves accuracy by decreasing side spin. Testing shows a difference of up to 5 yards.

The Driver range is completed with the Ezone Elite 3.0 Driver which is new for 2021 . With innovative research, design and manufacturing, EZONE ELITE 3.0 clubs assist in taking your game to the next level, whatever your standard. The latest technology present in the EZONE ELITE 3.0 enables lower spin and a higher launch, providing maximum distance.

IRON FITTING

Yonex have launched the new Ezone GS Irons. A Four-Piece Graphite-Hybrid Iron Structure has been created for the EZONE GS iron. This revolutionary combination of a mild carbon steel body, tungsten plate, carbon graphite insert and maraging steel face offers maximum ball speed and distance, with an enlarged sweet spot for greater launch from all areas of the face. The advancement in new materials and technology create 10% greater distance from hits lower on the clubface, compared to its predecessor, the EZONE GT. The graphite acts as a damper amongst the harder metals to enhance playability and feel.

NEW in the range for 2021, is the Yonex Ezone Elite 3.0 Irons. The Ezone Elite 3 Golf Irons by Yonex are built to add power to your game. The thinner clubface combines with the wide, rounded sole to create an enlarged sweet spot and maximum power from your swing. As well as this, the Elite 3 Golf Irons have a lower centre of gravity for a higher launch, higher sp and maximum forgiveness.
