VOKEY DESIGN
Bob Vokey didn’t always dream of being the ultimate wedge master. But from the moment he raised his hand and said, “I’ll give it a go,” he began honing his craft with unwavering dedication. Every Vokey Design wedge is a demonstration of two distinct realities: the precision of engineering and the artistry of craft.
SUPERIOR HANDCRAFTED TECHNOLOGY
Great wedge play comes from shot versatility, distance control and spin. The materials and structure of SM9 wedges represent our most technologically advanced design in all three areas, tuned for precise contact, lower flight and higher spin.
ULTIMATE SHOT VERSATILITY
Your swing is unique and requires a unique wedge. Finding the right grind for your swing type will provide you flawless contact, so you can be prepared to hit every kind of wedge shot in all conditions. For every shot, every lie, every course, there’s a grind fit for your swing:
L Grind – This is the lowest bounce option, designed for firm conditions and precise players. The heel, toe, and trailing edge relief allow for maximum greenside versatility and precision shot control at impact.
S Grind – Full sole with straight trailing edge grind, best for neutral to firm conditions. Designed for players who prefer square-faced shots with a simple technique.
M Grind – For a more sweeping swing type who plays shots from a variety of clubface positions. For players who like to manufacture shots with an open or closed face around the greens.
F Grind – Full sole designed as an all-purpose grind. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole.
K Grind – Wide sole with increased bounce and enhanced camber. This high-bounce grind is designed for the neutral/digger swing type and medium/soft conditions. For players requiring forgiveness in a wide, full sole.
D Grind – With a high measured bounce, and versatile heel, toe, and trailing edge grind. This is designed for shot-making versatility for players with a steeper angle of attack.
T Grind – The T Grind features an aggressive heel, toe, and trailing edge grind with the bounce focused towards the leading edge. Perfect for players playing in firm soil conditions, bunkers with less sand, or players with accurate deliveries that are typically shallow in approach.
